Saudi Arabia’s Air Connectivity Program (ACP) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the premium airline, beOnd, to explore the potential of launching direct flights that offer all-premium services between Red Sea International Airport and six prominent European cities. This proposed airline service aims to create direct links between the Red Sea and major cities such as London, Paris, Milan, Munich, Zurich, and Moscow. The initiative is designed to enhance international travel accessibility and bolster the Kingdom’s tourism sector.
The agreement was formalized at the Farnborough International Airshow 2026 in London. This partnership aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy to enhance its global air connectivity as part of the Vision 2030 plan, which seeks to diversify the nation’s economy and attract a greater number of international visitors. By doing so, the Kingdom aims to establish the Red Sea as a premier luxury travel hub, further solidifying its position on the global tourism map.
